Terms (License + Refunds)

Plain-English summary: You’re buying a reusable internal template for your organisation. Don’t resell or redistribute it. If something goes wrong with delivery, we’ll fix it fast. Refunds are available for genuine issues and consumer cancellation rights apply where relevant.
1) What you’re buying
You are purchasing a digital template (Word and/or PDF) intended to be adapted to your organisation’s context. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with any specific law or regulator.
2) License (how you may use it)
When we receive payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template within the purchasing organisation.
- Allowed: Edit, customise, and use internally; share internally with your employees/contractors working for your organisation; store it in your internal systems.
- Not allowed: Resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or make it available outside your organisation (including posting to public websites, marketplaces, or template libraries).
- Not allowed: Use it (or a lightly modified version) as the basis of a competing template product or service for sale.
3) Delivery
Digital delivery is provided via email link or attachment to the email address you provide. If you don’t receive it, contact us and we’ll re-send.
4) Refunds & cancellations
Delivery / technical issues: If you can’t access the files, we’ll fix it or refund you.
Duplicate purchase: If you accidentally purchase twice, we’ll refund the duplicate.
Change of mind: If you are a consumer in the EU buying at distance, you may have a right to cancel within 14 days in line with consumer protection rules. For digital content, this right can be affected once supply/performance begins where you have requested immediate supply and acknowledged the effect on cancellation rights. (If you’re buying on behalf of a business, consumer cancellation rights typically don’t apply.)
To request a refund or cancellation: email info@policysonic.com with your purchase email and the reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
5) Intellectual property
The template and website content remain the intellectual property of PolicySonic. You own your customised version and your internal policy decisions.
6) Liability (keep expectations realistic)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolicySonic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability relating to your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the template.
